Future development

The first step of the project was to design computing infrastructure capable of enabling the deployment and delivery of HPC on-demand services for the companies located in the areas managed by the Consortium.

This initial configuration is also served as a pilot to test the system and consolidate its power and its degree of availability and use.

Now, the effort is aimed at growth and the further development and expansion of the system in terms of computing capacity, to ensure more resources and performance, trying to intercept the needs of the market demand.

It also aims to modeling, in collaboration with partners and relevant local stakeholders, a "digital harbor", to be developed in the industrial area of Amaro (Italy), the place in where the supercomputing system is built.
